If you’re experiencing restrictions when trying to make in-app purchases, please follow the updated steps below based on your device:
For iPhone or iPad (iOS)
Open your device’s Settings.
Tap Screen Time.
Select Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Make sure Content & Privacy Restrictions is turned on.
Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases.
Select In-app Purchases.
Ensure it is set to Allow.
If restrictions are still in place, you may also need to review your Screen Time Passcode settings.
For Android Devices
- Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
Tap Authentication.
Select Require authentication for purchases.
Choose your preferred setting, such as For all purchases through Google Play on this device.
If your device supports it, you can also enable fingerprint or biometric authentication for added security.
If you continue to experience issues, please ensure your payment method is valid and that your device software is up to date.
