No. Once you've published a track as Free, it can't be converted to Premium, and you can't delete it and republish it as Premium instead.
Why we keep Free and Premium content separate
We also don't allow the same track to be published as both Free and Premium, even with changes to the title, description, audio quality, background music, or length. This policy exists because our MemberPlus subscribers rely on unique, premium-exclusive content to get real value from their membership.
When you create genuinely new, high-quality tracks for your premium audience, you're not just supporting our revenue-sharing model — you're giving MemberPlus members reasons to stay invested. That revenue matters: it flows directly back to teachers, helping us distribute more resources across the community and supporting the teachers who shape Insight Timer.
What to do instead
We encourage you to upload new, original content for your premium tier. This is a real opportunity to expand your portfolio, reach deeper with your premium audience, and showcase the full range of what you can create. Fresh, valuable material keeps your listeners engaged and gives them real reasons to explore more of your work.
If you made a mistake
If you accidentally published a Premium Track as Free and need help, contact our Publishing Team within 48 hours at publishers@insighttimer.com. We can sometimes help resolve these situations.
