Understanding the Live Event Hosting Screen

When you host a Live Event on Insight Timer, you’ll have access to a simple and intuitive hosting screen designed to help you manage your session with ease. Below is a guide to understanding the key features available during your event.


What is the Stats Panel in the Live Event hosting screen?


The Stats Panel, located on the right side of your screen during a Live Event, provides real-time insights to help you manage your session. It shows:


  • The total number of users who have joined the event
  • The number of users currently attending live
  • The total donation amount received
  • A donation feed, which can be sorted by:
    • Time of donation
    • Amount of donation



What controls are available while hosting a Live Event?


As the host, you can: 


  • Mute and unmute your microphone.
  • Turn your video on and off.


These controls are easily accessible to help you manage the flow of your event. 



What is the Promotional Cards button? 


You will see a button labeled "Promotional Cards" in the hosting interface. This button allows you to promote your Retreats, Courses, Premium Group Meditations, Live Events, or encourage attendees to Follow you or Donate.


Please note: The Promotional Cards feature will become available during your session once enabled (in mid-May 2025).
