We work to protect our teacher community's income and ensure you're rewarded fairly for the work you do. To preserve the integrity of our revenue-sharing model, we've put these policies in place to prevent fraudulent activities:
What's Not Allowed
- Don't create or associate with accounts that artificially generate plays or engagement. Using virtual assistants or related accounts for this purpose is prohibited.
- Only upload content you've created, own the copyrights to, or have legal rights to distribute.
Actions We May Take
- Teachers found engaging in these activities will have their accounts temporarily or permanently removed from Insight Timer.
- Revenue obtained from these activities or copyright infringement will be forfeited.
- Given the seriousness of these violations, we may pursue legal action.
Teacher FAQs
As a teacher, can I play my own content multiple times?
Yes, absolutely. We encourage it as a way to review your work on the app. Those plays won't count toward your pay, since we reward teachers for legitimate community engagement.
Can I have a user account separate from my teacher account?
Yes, you can—as long as it's not deliberately used to generate artificial plays or engagement.
What should I do if I suspect unusual behavior from another teacher?
Report any concerns to our Support Team for investigation. Send an email to publishers@insighttimer.com.
