Add Tracks to Your Playlist
You can organize your favorite meditations, sleep content, and practices into playlists that work for you. We give you two easy ways to add tracks — choose whichever feels most natural.
Method 1: Edit Your Playlist Directly
This is the quickest way when you know which playlist you want to add to:
- Open the Insight Timer app.
- Tap the Saved tab (fifth icon at the bottom of the screen).
- Select Playlists, then choose the playlist you'd like to update.
- Tap Add Tracks.
- Browse tracks from Bookmarks, Recently Played, or Teachers you follow. You can also use the Search bar or apply filters such as Benefits or Music.
- Tap the + icon beside a track to add it. A check mark will appear to confirm it's been added.
Method 2: Add From a Track's Page
When you find a track you love while browsing, you can add it to a playlist right from that track's page:
- Select the track you'd like to add.
- Tap More (⋯) beside the Bookmark (ribbon icon).
- Select Add to Playlist.
- Choose the playlist where you'd like to add the track.
Add One Track to Multiple Playlists
You don't have to choose. A single track can live in as many of your playlists as you want. This gives you flexibility to organize the same meditation for different times of day, moods, or purposes.
