Host live events to build connection
Put a face to the voice behind your content by hosting live events on the Insight Timer community. Live events let you build an engaged audience and turn event attendees into regular listeners of your meditation, mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork content.
Create a group for your community
Build a tight-knit community by creating an exclusive group for your audience. Your followers can gather together, find like-minded people, and get direct access to your Insight Timer tracks. It's the perfect place to share your latest content and build lasting relationships with your community members.
Strengthen your teacher profile
Your teacher bio is one of the first things people see when they visit your profile. Make sure it clearly communicates who you are and what you offer.
About your bio
Include your expertise and relevant qualifications on the topics you've shared content about. Community members want to learn more about the teachers they listen to, and a strong bio helps them decide whether to explore your meditation, mindfulness, sleep, yoga, and breathwork practices.
Keep these guidelines in mind:
- Write your bio in the third person.
- Keep it between 200 and 1,500 characters.
- Don't use emojis, write in all caps, or include web links in the bio itself.
Adding your website link
There's a dedicated section on your Teacher Profile for website links. Here's how to add or update yours:
- Log in to your Teacher Dashboard.
- Click the Publisher Profile tab in the left menu.
- Scroll down to Social Information and update your bio website link.
