Where Can I Find My Payment Statements?

Teachers can access payment statements directly from the Teacher Dashboard. Statements show your monthly earnings, the content that generated revenue, and payment details. Understanding your payment statements helps you track income and analyze which content performs best.

How to Access Your Statements

Follow these steps to find your payment statements:

  1. Log into your Teacher Dashboard.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click on the Revenue tab.
  3. You'll see a list of available statements. Select the month and year you want to view.
  4. Your statement will display instantly with full earnings details.

Your statement will display instantly, showing listens, earnings by content type, and your total monthly revenue. Statements are downloadable for your records.

Your statement provides complete transparency into how your earnings were calculated and which content contributed most to your revenue.

When Statements Are Available

Revenue displayed on your Teacher Dashboard is updated at the end of each month, once your earnings reach the $10 payment threshold. This ensures accurate, finalized data before processing payment.

If you earn less than $10 in a month, you'll receive an email with a breakdown of your earnings, and that amount will carry forward to the next month. Your Teacher Dashboard won't update with a statement until you reach the $10 threshold, at which point we process payment and a statement is generated.

Statements appear on the Teacher Dashboard within 3 days of the payment date. Statements are not sent via email, but you'll receive a monthly email notification when your statement is ready to view. This email includes a link to your dashboard for easy access.

Accessing Older Statements

We're working on making a fuller archive of past statements available on the Teacher Dashboard. We understand how important it is to have access to historical earnings data for tax purposes and record-keeping, and we appreciate your patience as we build this feature.

In the meantime, if you need a specific statement from the past, contact us at publishers@insighttimer.com and we can provide it directly. We maintain complete records of all teacher payments and earnings.

Payment Methods and Timing

Payments are processed monthly to your preferred payment method on file. For details about available payment methods, fees, payment timing, or changes to your payment information, check your Account Settings or email finance@insighttimer.com. We offer multiple payment options to accommodate teachers worldwide.

Understanding Your Earnings

Your monthly earnings are based on:

  • Number of listens: How many times people listened to your content—volume indicator
  • Content type: Free tracks, premium tracks, courses, and live events have different earning structures
  • Return rate: How effectively your content brings listeners back to the app—quality and engagement indicator
  • Listener subscriptions: A portion of MemberPlus subscription revenue is distributed to teachers whose content drives engagement and retention
  • Category performance: Earnings vary slightly by category based on listener demographics and engagement patterns

Your Teacher Dashboard breaks down earnings by each of these factors, giving you visibility into what's working and where to focus future content creation.

Using Statements for Tax and Business Purposes

Payment statements serve as official records of your Insight Timer income for tax purposes. Keep statements for your records, especially if you're self-employed or operating as a business. Your annual earnings are documented through these monthly statements, which may be needed for tax filing or business accounting.
