What Is the Difference Between Stereo and High Quality in Live Events?

When you set up a Live Event, you can adjust your audio quality through the Stream Settings. Here's what you're choosing between:

Stereo sound

Stereo uses two separate channels. Each channel can feed a different speaker, creating directionality, perspective, and space. This is the setup most people are familiar with — it's how you get a sense of width and dimension in audio.

High quality

High quality uses a single mono channel. That one channel can be played through multiple speakers, but all speakers reproduce the same signal. It's simpler, more focused, and works well when spatial separation isn't your priority.

Which should you choose?

Think about your content and setup. Stereo gives you creative tools for depth and dimension. High quality keeps things clean and straightforward. Both work well for live meditation, yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness sessions.
