How to Edit Your Intention

Setting an intention for your practice helps focus your mind and clarifies what you want from your session. If you want to change the intention you set, here's how:


Steps to Edit Your Intention


  1. Open the Insight Timer app on your device.
  2. Go to the Home tab.
  3. Look for the Today I Will section and tap your current intention.
  4. Tap the three dots (⋯) in the upper right corner to open the menu.
  5. Select Edit, make your changes to the intention text, and tap Save.


Important Note About Editing

You can only edit your intention one time. After you update it, it can't be changed again. So take a moment to think about what feels right for your practice today before you save. This helps you stay intentional and committed to the direction you've chosen for your session.
