Groups on Insight Timer are managed collaboratively by Administrators and Moderators. The community members you bring together thrive when there's clear leadership.
How Group Roles Work
The person who creates a Group automatically becomes an Administrator and oversees the overall management of the Group. Moderators help supervise activities and maintain a positive, supportive environment for all community members.
How to Assign Administrator or Moderator Permissions
If you're an Administrator, follow these steps:
- Tap the menu icon (≡).
- Tap Groups.
- Open the Group you manage.
- Tap the member thumbnails below the Group name.
- Select the member's profile photo.
- Choose Make Moderator or Make Admin.
Important Permission Note
Only Administrators can assign new Administrators or Moderators. This helps ensure your Group stays organized and maintains community standards.
