The Therapist Hub uses three verification badges to help community members understand a teacher's or therapist's qualifications. These badges appear on profiles and help you choose the right guide for your needs.
Licensed
You hold a current, government-recognized license or registration to practice as a mental health professional. This includes psychologists, clinical social workers, counselors, and therapists licensed in your jurisdiction.
Pre-Licensed
You're actively studying or completing supervised hours toward a recognized license. You may practice only within the scope allowed by your training program and local laws.
Accredited
You hold a recognized professional accreditation or qualification relevant to therapy or emotional wellbeing, but it's not a government license. This includes accredited counseling diplomas, trauma-informed certifications, and mindfulness-based modality credentials.
