The Therapist Directory—our searchable listing where community members can discover and connect with you—is limited to practitioners who are licensed, pre-licensed (under supervision), or accredited from a recognized program. Insight Timer is affiliated with the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA), reflecting our commitment to credentialed professionals.
If You Don't Currently Meet These Criteria
If you're not yet licensed, pre-licensed, or accredited, you won't appear in the Directory, and you won't receive a verification badge on your profile. But here's the good news: you can still build your account, explore all our free resources, and benefit from access to our health platform. Once you've earned your credentials or completed your supervision requirements, simply update your profile with your credentials. We'll review your information and add you to the Directory once you're eligible.
