How to reinstall the Insight Timer app

If you need to remove and reinstall the app, the process is straightforward for both iOS and Android. Your account data will be safe—you'll be able to log back in and pick up where you left off.

Reinstall on iOS

1. On your home screen, hold down the Insight Timer app icon until it starts wobbling.
2. Tap the minus sign (-) in the upper left corner to delete the app.
3. Restart your iPhone. This step is important.
4. Visit the App Store and search for Insight Timer Meditation App.
5. Tap the cloud icon or Install to download the app again.
6. Log back in with your existing account information.

Reinstall on Android

1. Go to the Google Play Store and search for Insight Timer.
2. Tap Uninstall on the Insight Timer home screen.
3. Restart your device.
4. Visit the Play Store again and search for Insight Timer.
5. Tap Install to download the app.
6. Log back in with your existing account information.

Important notes

Reinstalling the app won't affect your account data—you'll resume right where you left off. However, if you're a MemberPlus subscriber with downloaded tracks for offline use, you'll need to re-download those files after reinstalling.
