Connecting Insight Timer to Apple Health or Health Connect lets us use information like your sleep, heart rate and mindful minutes to personalize what we recommend. It's optional, and you can turn it off whenever you like.
Turn it off in Insight Timer
- Open Insight Timer and go to Settings.
- Tap Account and Privacy.
- Tap Apple Health or Health Connect and turn the connection off.
Or turn it off from your phone
You can also revoke access directly, which works even if you've deleted the app.
On iPhone, open the Health app, tap your profile picture, tap Apps and Services, choose Insight Timer, and turn off the data you no longer want to share.
On Android, open Health Connect, choose App permissions, select Insight Timer, and turn off the data you no longer want to share.
What happens next
We stop collecting new health information from your connected app or device right away.
Information we've already collected stays with us unless you ask us to delete it. If you'd like it deleted, email privacy@insighttimer.com and we'll take care of it.
