Teacher Profile Requirements

Before proceeding with uploading and publishing content, teachers must first set up their Teacher Profile. Here’s how to sign up as an Insight Timer teacher. To avoid delays, please make sure that your profile meets the requirements below.

Your profile photo must be a high-quality portrait (head to-torso) with a resolution of at least 1600 x 1600 pixels (square photo), and a maximum file size of 20 MB. Make sure that the focus is on your face and that there's enough space above your head so it will look good both on the app and on the website. It must be well-lit, not at an awkward angle, not overly edited or heavily filtered, and not depict nudity or violence. No black-and-white images, and no selfies, please. No busy backgrounds or plain white backgrounds, too. It also must not have any text or borders. Please also make sure it's a photo of just yourself and not with a pet, with your significant other, with your kid/s, or with any other people. Here are sample headshots for reference.

For a group or organization, logos are accepted. The logo should just be the “icon” and not include any text unless the logo itself is a stylized font.

Musicians may use a full-body photo, but only if it shows them using or with their instrument/s. Live Yoga teachers may likewise use a full-body photo of them in yoga poses. Here are some sample photos for Live Yoga Teachers.

Your Publisher Bio is a place for you to tell listeners about yourself and your practice. Please make sure it is written in the third person, and keep it between 200 and 500 characters (about 60-80 words). Do not use emojis, all caps, and include web links – there are dedicated sections for this.

Use this field to provide a web link that will help our team and community know more about you. It can be your website, a social media account, a Linktree link, etc. This will be visible in the "About" section on your teacher profile on the app.

Please upload any relevant accreditations or qualifications related to your offerings.

NOTE: You must provide a web link and/or proof of accreditation in order for your publisher profile to be approved.

All these requirements must be met before tracks can be published or being allowed to use the Live platform.

Infringement of or non-compliance with any of the above may result in the rejection of tracks and courses, delay in publishing as well as temporarily or permanently being banned from using and uploading content on our platform.
