There are a few reasons why you might not see the Friend button on a community member's profile:
- You may have disabled Friend Requests on your account.
- The community member may have disabled Friend Requests on their account.
- You may already have a pending friend request from that person.
How to Enable Friend Requests
To check and enable Friend Requests on your account:
- Open the Insight Timer app.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner.
- Select Settings.
- Go to Account & Privacy.
- Toggle on Friend requests under Privacy.
How to Clear a Pending Friend Request
If you have a pending friend request you'd like to clear:
- Open the Insight Timer app.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner.
- Select Notifications.
- Under Requests, find the friend request you want to clear.
- Tap the Ignore button next to the request.
