You can watch live events on Insight Timer whenever they're happening, using either the mobile app or the Insight Timer website. Live events are a great way to connect with teachers and your community in real-time, whether you prefer to join through your phone or watch on a bigger screen.
Join Live Events Through the Mobile App
The Insight Timer app makes it easy to find and join live events. There are multiple ways to access live content depending on how you prefer to browse.
Option 1: From the Teachers Tab
- Tap the Teachers tab (the fourth icon at the bottom of the screen).
- Go to My Teachers to see teachers you follow.
- Tap Live Events to see all upcoming and current sessions.
- Select a live event to join the broadcast or start streaming if you're a teacher.
Option 2: From the Saved Tab
- Tap the Saved tab (the fifth icon at the bottom of the screen).
- Tap Live Events to view your saved live content. (If you don't see it, tap Edit to add Live Events to your Saved list.)
- Tap What's On to view all scheduled events coming up.
- Select a live event from the list to join.
Filter and Set Reminders
You can filter upcoming live events at the top of the page to find exactly what you're looking for—whether that's by teacher, topic, or time. When viewing an upcoming event that interests you, tap Attend to receive a reminder notification 10 minutes before the session starts. This way you won't miss events from your favorite teachers.
Join Live Events Through the Website
If you prefer to watch on a computer or larger screen, you can find and join live events on the Insight Timer website.
- Go to insighttimer.com in your web browser.
- Browse the Live Events section to see both ongoing and upcoming sessions from teachers around the world.
- Select an event that interests you and choose Add to Calendar or Notify Me to set a reminder for when it starts.
The website is a great alternative if you want to use your computer monitor or if you're browsing from your desktop.
If a Live Event Is Canceled
If a live event is canceled for any reason, all registered attendees will receive an in-app notification informing them of the cancellation. This gives you time to adjust your schedule or find an alternative session to join.
