Adding Snippets To Tracks

Snippets are 30-second audio previews of your tracks. They showcase the most memorable and compelling moment of your content, acting as "teasers" that help community members decide whether they want to listen to the full track. Think of them as the highlight reel of your work.

Snippets Across Free and Premium Tracks

Snippets have been available on Premium Tracks for a while, and we're now rolling them out to Free Tracks as well.

With this launch comes an exciting new browsing tool that lets community members scroll through 30-second previews of multiple tracks—similar to browsing stories on social media. This new format helps increase discovery and engagement with your content on the platform, while also expanding your reach and revenue potential.

How to Add a Snippet to Your Free Tracks

If you've already published Free Tracks, you can now select a 30-second snippet for each one. This ensures your entire track portfolio is eligible for the new preview feature, letting your best work shine.

Steps to Add or Update a Snippet

  1. Head to the  Teacher Dashboard
  2. Locate your Free Tracks on the Tracks tab
  3. Select Edit for the track you want to add a snippet to
  4. Select Pick a Snippet
  5. Drag the slider to select the most memorable 30 seconds of your track
  6. Re-submit the track for approval

Tips for Selecting Your Snippet

For the best listening experience: Unless you're uploading music, make sure your voice starts right from the beginning of your snippet. Avoid silence, pauses, or background music alone at the start. Community members are looking for the authentic voice and expertise that make your teaching unique.
